The Challenge
Time for a full redesign – brand up! This undergrad project was to create a new look for a fictitious company called Get Fitness, a local gym needing a strong online presence with some feature updates to the workout calendar and customer journey online. One of their biggest challenges was not only budget, but also the concern that their team members (admin & staff) needed easier, on-the-go editing options for the class calendar and they needed a quick solution for class schedule changes.
Beyond their lack of the right technology, their marketing as a whole was lacking. They had dealt a lot in the past with traditional marketing but were looking to invest in a more dynamic online solution if the right one could be created. Enter Team Ashton.
The Process
To help the gym generate more revenue we created the option for online, virtual exercise classes and a swag shopping section in the website featuring their new look and nutritional goodies.
Along with a full rebrand, we provided a brand guide, a high-fidelity website redesign in Figma, a full marketing strategy complete with Audience Analysis and User Analysis cases as well as SMM Strategy. To improve upon the deliverable I would have challenged our team to spend more time on the SMM strategy.
